People’s Custom Rx Pharmacy is a professional pharmacy that has served the Memphis and Shelby County community since 1969, first as People’s Pharmacy on Jackson Avenue and now as People’s Custom Rx. While continuing to provide old-fashioned, personal service, we utilize the most current technology to prepare your personalized medications, to maintain your profile and screen for drug interactions when we fill your prescriptions. Our compounding laboratories contains pharmaceutical grade chemicals and specialized equipment not found in most pharmacies, such as ointment mills, an electronic mortar and pestle, and capsule machines. We also offer many convenient services such as online refill requests, local delivery via courier, shipping via UPS and FedEx. Our Diabetic Supply division offers most major diabetic products conveniently delivered to your home.

Pharmacists Bill Johns, D.Ph., Judy Umfress, D.Ph., and Keith Young, D.Ph., have over 100 years of combined clinical experience and have specialized training in hormone replacement therapy. Their specialized training also includes general compounding, sterile and non-sterile compounding, compounding for pain control, veterinary compounding and cosmetic compounding.
